German Historical Museum
This museum is the work of Chinese-American architect I. M. Pei. After his famous design for the Louvre Museum in Paris he was commissioned to extend the space of the German Historical Museum by designing an Exhibition Hall that would present temporary exhibitions and would be connected to the only baroque building still standing in the center of Berlin.
The building is a transparent volume that reflects its neighbor, the Zeughaus (armory).
