Martin Gropius Bau
The Martin Gropius Bau is a historical monument since 1966, the building has been a museum through out all of its history, now dedicated to modern and contemporary art.
Designed and constructed by Walter Gropius' great uncle, Martin Gropius.
The neo-Renaissance style can be seen in the square layout and it includes neo-Baroque decorations, which have been restored after WWII and after being situated in the border between former East and West Berlin during the city's separation.
