Rauchstrasse Apartment Building
Architect Hans Hollein from Austria designed this building as part of the International Building Exhibition in Berlin in the 1980's. This was part of the second generation of architects gathering to create an urban renewal in Berlin after WWII and before the fall of the Berlin Wall.
When to goThe project is a private apartment building, therefor only the public areas around it can be visited any time.
How to get thereIt is a nice-green walk from the Tiergarten S Bahn Station (about 1 km) or you can take buses 100, 106, 187 and 200 to the stop "Nordische-Botschaften/Adenauer Stiftung".
